Regulatory compliance

This is the set of hierarchical systems whose job is to define best practices for any organization to comply with security policies and regulations; it also explains the consequences for those organizations that fail to comply with the standards.

We will go through some of the well-known regulatory compliance standards. These are used more in the United States than in other countries. In the rest of the world, similar standards may exist that cater to the needs of the organization's security regulations.
